Classroom Management

Our classroom is a relaxed environment, while being focused on routines and consistency. I use

logical consequences when needed. I also incorporate fun rewards or challenges throughout the school year.

All students are different and need different things to be successful.

Our classroom is a safe place and I want your child to enjoy learning everyday. If they would like to bring something that they feel can help them be ready to learn, I am ok with this.

Examples from our classroom are Stuffy Animals, Fidgets, Calm Down Corner, Flexible Seating, and Movement Breaks

The rule I have is, if it is not helpful it will have to be put away and not brought back.

About Mrs. Wittman

This is my sixth year teaching first grade at GES. I love teaching first grade! My favorite subject to teach is reading. My husband, Chris, and I have 3 children. We have 2 sons, Colten is a senior and Cowen is in 8th grade at ACHS. Our daughter Charlee is in pre-k at St. Rose. When I am not teaching or watching my children‘s activities, I enjoy being outside, taking care of my plants, watercolor painting, and working on home projects.
